In what may be the toughest ticket in town to get, CCU basketball fans won’t have to miss a minute of the action this Tuesday night when LSU comes to Conway to take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
HTC and Coastal Carolina University have confirmed that the CCU Vs LSU men’s basketball game will be broadcast live on HTC’s channel 4 Tuesday night with a tip off scheduled for 7pm.
“We have a very close relationship with CCU athletics and we’re trying to provide extra value for our cable subscribers,” said HTC’s Tom Vitt earlier today. “It’s good for the community to bring high quality basketball to the masses. Seating is limited at Kimbell arena, and we are happy to bring the game to the fans.”
Local Broadcaster and frequent contributor to this site, Allen Smothers will handle the Play by play duties. “HTC is really stepping up to the plate, they really want to do more local sports,” said Smothers. “It’s great exposure for CCU, and it’s a big commitment for HTC to bring this to the fans that aren’t able to make it to the sold out game.”
Coastal’s season opens this Friday night and the Chants will have an opportunity to get some experience under their belt against Covenant on Friday, and Methodist on Saturday before the SEC, LSU Tiger’s come calling.
