Tiger ends 2-year losing skid

Tiger Woods snapped a two-year tournament-winning drought on Sunday when he won the Chevron World Golf Challenge at Thousand Oaks, Calif.

After rolling in a 15-footer for birdie on the par-3 17th hole, Woods claimed the one-stroke victory over Zach Johnson after sinking a six-goot birdie putt on the last hole.

Woods fired a 3-under-par 69 to record his first victory since claiming the 2009 Australian Masters.

Two weeks after that victory, Woods was involved in a car crash outside his Florida home that led to revelations of marital transgressions and his subsequent divorce from Elin Nordegren.

Woods has played in just 21 PGA Tour events the past two years, posting five top-10 finishes.
