The Charlotte Bobcats have narrowed their coaching list down to three final candidates, according to a report in the Charlotte Observer.
Former Utah Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan, Indiana Pacers assistant Brian Shaw and Los Angeles Lakers assistant Quin Snyder are the three finalists for the Bobcats’ head coaching vacancy, the report said.
The Bobcats are planning to interview Shaw and Snyder a second time this week so they can talk with Bobcats owner Michael Jordan, who was present when Sloan was interviewed last week.
Sloan is the only one of the three who has been an NBA head coach, although Snyder was a college head coach at Missouri.
The Bobcats are seeking a replacement for Paul Silas, who was fired after an NBA record-low seven victories last season.
