Adderton, Seahawks lead All-Region 7-4A girls team

mbghoops-addertonThe Myrtle Beach High girls basketball team dominated the All-Region 7-4A squad just like the Lady Seahawks did the league schedule.

After leading the Lady Seahawks to an undefeated region record and a No. 2 state ranking, senior Kiana Adderton was named Player of the Year honors and Jennifer Dennison was voted Coach of the Year. Senior Nia Sumpter joined Adderton on the first team, senior Kira Bell made the second team, and junior Jalah Horton made the third team.

North Myrtle Beach senior Aquera Johnson was named to the first team, senior Juia Carini made the second team, and freshman Jenna Burger made the third team to give the Lady Chiefs a member on each squad.

St. James placed a pair of players on the all-region team – senior Abigail Rumph on the second and sophomore Hunter Clapham on the third. The full lineup is listed below:
