CAC swimmers dominate podium at regional meet

Palmetto Aquatics (PALM) hosted the 2017 Thanksgiving Invite Meet on the campus of the University of South Carolina this past weekend, and several local swimmers brought home hardware for their efforts.

Over 850 swimmers from 24 swim clubs from Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia participated, including 38 swimmers from the Coastal Aquatic Club (CAC). This is short course swimming season, which means the pool is 25 yards long.

Harrison Clinton (Boys 13-14) led the way with 6 first-place finishes, followed by Taylor Steele (Girls 15 and over) winning 3 events. Together with a cluster of teammates (Ella Habib, Kater Wolff, Yuri Costa, Joe Guthinger, and Ian Morgan), CAC swimmers recorded 19 Podium Finishes (TOP 3).
