Carolina Forest boys, girls cap unbeaten track seasons

The Carolina Forest boys and girls track and field teams wrapped up undefeated regular seasons on Wednesday with wins in a tri-meet against Carvers Bay and Marion.

The Lady Panthers tallied a total of 105 points to run away with the meet, with Carvers Bay (36) finishing a distant second and Marion (20) in third.

The Panthers (93 points) finished the season 22-0, their third undefeated season in the last five years, with a five year record of 75-2. Carvers Bay (61) placed second ahead of Marion (13).

Both teams advance to host the Region VI-AAAA Championship on Monday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium, where the Carolina Forest boys and girls will face tough challenges from Sumter for the region crown.
