Chiefs take down tri-meet over Socastee, Hartsville

The North Myrtle Beach wrestling team swept a tri-meet on Friday, defeating host Socastee 42-23 and Hartsville 47-24.

North Myrtle Beach’s Logan Stump (106), Codie Aube (113), Alex Lewis (132), Jared Woody (145), Brian Beck (152), Hampton Harmon (170), Harrison Smith (220) and Mackenzie Angel (285) went 2-0 in their matches on the night.

The Chiefs improved their record to 14-4 on the season after finishing sixth in last week’s North Myrtle Beach Duals.

North Myrtle Beach gets the weekend off before entertaining a big rematch with Aynor on Monday. The two teams have split their two previous meetings this season.
