In a real treat for those in attendance, CAC coach Fabio da Silva (a 10-time Brazilian National Team member) competed in the 50 Freestyle, tying with CAC swimmer/assistant coach Andre Fachin.   And, fans cheered loudly for Max Wolff, a CAC swimmer with Down’s Syndrome who was recently recognized at the School Carolina High School League Swimming Championships.

Swimmers will work to improve their personal best times as they seek to qualify for States and Sectionals/Regionals over the coming club swim season.  Swimmers carry over state qualifying times from last year assuming they stayed in that age-category or must qualify for a new age-group.  Looking ahead to the upcoming season, CAC will compete in out-of-town meets in Charleston, Clemson, and Columbia.  CAC will also host the Lower-State Palmetto Championship meet in March 2017.
