Coastal holds No. 1 ranking; more honors for Henderson

ccufoot-31With an impressive 41-14 win in week two of the 2015 season, the Coastal Carolina football team remained #1 in the FCS Coaches poll and moved up one spot to #2 in the STATS FCS top 25 national media poll.

The Chanticleers will defend their lofty rank when they host Western Illinois, ranked 31st in the STATS FCS poll, this Saturday (Sept. 19) for Coastal Carolina’s home opener. Kickoff is set for 6 pm. The Chants have won each of their last four home openers and are 9-3 all-time when playing their first home game of the season.
