Coastal signs four more to bring recruiting class to 23

ccufoot-mogliahuddleNational Signing Day has been more like National Signing Season for the Coastal Carolina football team, which added four more signees on Monday.

The Chanticleers initially signed a recruiting class of 14 on National Signing Day in February, but they have gradually added players over the past two months for a total of 23 signees.

Coastal Carolina coach Joe Moglia announced four additions to the 2014 recruiting class, including running back Brandon Engle, offensive lineman Nick Foley, placekicker/punter David Lamb Jr. and defensive back Dimitri Lee Jr.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Named first team Region 5AAAAAA as a senior and honorable mention as a junior … Selected to play in the Georgia Northwest All-Star Bowl … Versus Centennial (Sept. 6, 2013), had nine carries for 260, including touchdown runs of 80 and 87 yards … Added an 85-yard kickoff return as a senior … Was a two-time Cherokee Gridiron Club Player of the Week … Member of the 2013 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s 6A State Weightlifting Championship team … Also runs track at Etowah.
