Crosby leads strong CAC outing at Carolina Classic

CAC at Carolina Classic Dec2015Carolina Aquatics (CA) of Columbia hosted the 2015 Carolina Classic swim meet this past weekend (Dec 11-13, 2015) on the campus of the University of South Carolina.  Almost 600 swimmers from 13 swim clubs from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia participated, including 35 swimmers from the Coastal Aquatic Club (CAC).  This is short course swimming season, which means the pool is 25 yards long.  The Blatt Pool is a 10-lane venue.

Over the 3-day meet, 13 CAC swimmers combined for 26 top-10 finishes. John Grey Crosby led the way, winning both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races to go along with a pair of second-place finishes and seven top-fives.  Andre Fachin won the 100 Fly and was second in the 100 Free.  Jenn Paul, Sean King, and Taylor Steele also posted multiple TOP TEN finishes.  Here’s a breakdown of all TOP TEN finishes:
