Krier, Jenerette finish first; CF takes home team titles

North Myrtle Beach’s Benjamin Jenerette and St. James’ Billy Krier took first place in Tuesday’s cross country tri-meet at North Myrtle Beach, but Carolina Forest claimed the team titles in the boys and girls divisions.

Krier broke the tape in a time of 16:39, nearly a full minute ahead of runner-up Jessie Patrick (17:26) of Carolina Forest. St. James’ Corey Morrison (18:28), Carolina Forest’s Robert Reardon (18:33), the Sharks’ Corey Falco (19:04) and the Panthers’ Charles Daniel (19:18) rounded out the top six finishers.
