Volleyball: NMB wins in OT again; Socastee downs CF

The Lady Chiefs (7-2) lost the first two matches 18-25 and 19-25 before coach Erica Allman moved Bellamy from her usual role of middle hitter to outside hitter. She finished with 16 kills to lead North Myrtle Beach to wins of 25-19, 25-19 and 15-4.

North Myrtle Beach’s Maddie Roy made 42 assists and Maggie Hash made 25 kills as the Lady Chiefs completed a wild 4-0 week. The slipped past Carolina Forest and West Brunswick in fifth-set tiebreakers by identical 15-13 scores while also sweeping Wilson.
