XC: Conway boys, girls run past rival Myrtle Beach

congxc-smithThe Conway High boys and girls cross country teams defeated Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, including a perfect score of 15 for the Lady Tigers.

Conway had the top-five finishers, led by medalist Kiena Smith (22:11). Aylssa Waibel (22:50), Claire Skipper (24:45), Edris Davis (24:57) and Sabrina Brengeo Conway (27:22) completed the clean sweep for the Lady Tigers. Myrtle Beach had 42 points, led by Karisa Tilford (27:47).

The Conway boys edged the Seahawks 32-25 with Shane Mooney (18:04) earning medalist honors for the Tigers. John Chambers (19:08) finished second to lead Myrtle Beach.
