Born with the goal of providing first-class coverage of local sports, launched in September 2011 and immediately saw astronomical viewership and growth. Each month saw a dramatic increase in traffic, with December 2011 drawing more than 150,000 page views. With no other media outlet currently filling this need in the community, we anticipate continued growth for years to come.

Although is the hottest new web site on the Strand, its roots are far from new. Partners Terry Massey and Tyler Watkins have a combined 40 years of experience covering sports on the Grand Strand, giving us an edge on any existing or potential competition. Thousands have already made their main source for local sports coverage and more are following suit every day. was formed to provide coverage not only to the “revenue” sports, such as football, basketball and baseball, but also to the other sports – like golf, tennis, soccer, softball, track, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, and even lacrosse. Those deserving athletes, who make up the vast majority of school sports teams, have been underserved by the local media for years. We are the only local outlet providing “full” coverage.’s primary focus is to provide excellent media coverage of local athletes who have been overlooked in the past. We cover six area high schools – Carolina Forest, Conway, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Socastee and St. James – and three colleges – Coastal Carolina, Clemson and South Carolina – as well as local adult and youth travel and club sports.
