CAC’s top swimmers sizzle at Bring the Heat meet

cac-logoA small contingent of swimmers from the Coastal Aquatic Club (CAC) represented the team at the annual Bring the Heat meet hosted by Team Greenville (SC) this past weekend.

Swim teams from South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee participated in the meet.  Still, despite only sending 12 swimmers, six CAC swimmers (half of the team) brought home 28 TOP 6 finishes:

• Ian Morgan: 1st in 100 Free; 1st in 200 Fly; 1st in 400 Free; 2nd in 100 Fly; 2nd in 400 IM; 2nd in 200 Free; 2nd in 100 Breast; 3rd in 800 Free; and 4th in 200 Back.
• Harrison Clinton: 1st in 100 Fly; 1st in 100 Breast; 2nd in 200 Fly; 2nd in 200 Breast; 3rd in 100 Free; 3rd in 400 IM; 3rd in 50 Free; and 5th in 100 Back.
• Ryan Boudreau:  4th in 50 Free; 5th in 400 Free; 5th in 100 Free; and 5th in 200 Free.
• Cameron Bonham:  4th in 100 Free; 4th in 50 Free; 5th in 100 Fly; and 6th in 100 Back.
• Ella Habib:  5th in 200 Fly.
• Chandra Robideaux:  6th in 100 Fly; and 6th in 50 Free.

Rounding out the CAC team for the meet were Abbey Boudreau, Allyssa Boudreau, Haley Boudreau, Kailey Habib, Ethan Nechemia, and Molly Tate.

Next up, CAC will compete in the May Breakout Meet over Memorial Day Weekend hosted by Carolina Aquatics (CA) at the USC Natatorium.  Other meets include trips to Cary, NC and Columbia, SC before the Long-Course State Championship meet back at the USC Natatorium in late July.
