CCU soccer nets 4 players on All-South Atlantic Team

The Coastal Carolina men’s soccer team’s surprisingly strong season is over, but the accolades keep rolling in for the Chanticleers.

The Friendswood, Texas native helped the Chanticleer defense hold opponents to only 0.90 goals per game and a 9.7% shot percentage.

In addition to being named First Team All-Big South Ribeiro led the team with eight assists, which was good enough for 20th in the national rankings. Ribeiro ranked second on the team in total points (26), goals (9) and tied for the team lead with seven assists. He was tabbed to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week and Big South Player of the Week. The sophomore from Bello Horizonte, Brazil also recorded two game-winning goals for the Chants.
