A pair of Carolina Forest senior student-athletes added one more crowning achievement to their graduation and awards ceremonies during their final week of high school.
Panthers’ boys lacrosse standout Braeden Bernhardt (pictured left) and girls basketball sharpshooter Ellen Nardella signed their National Letters of Intent to continue playing their sport of choice at the collegiate level.
Bernhardt signed with Oglethorpe University in Atlanta after starring as a long stick midfielder for the Panthers. He had 24 groundballs in his senior season at Carolina Forest.
Nardella signed Converse College in Spartanburg after helping the Lady Panthers to a Region 6-5A title. The shooting guard averaged 11 points per game and was a 3-point specialist.
