Coastal’s football recruiting class small but big on talent

ccufoot-mogliarunonfieldCoastal Carolina head football coach Joe Moglia announced his 2014 recruiting class on Wednesday’s National Signing Day.

The group of 13 players features eight who earned all-state honors and an additional three named to all-region teams. Also, five recruits were part of teams that reached their state’s semifinals or better, including two state champions and two runners-up.

The class hails from seven different states, including three recruits each from Georgia and Florida, with five offensive players, five defensive players and three athletes.
