Gordon, Sharp ride waves to three wins at ESA event

St. Patrick’s Day weekend also signaled the green light to the Grand Strand surfing scene at the ESA-sanctioned St. Patrick’s Day Surfoff.

Luke Gordon took first place in the Menehune Longboard and the Open Shortboard and the Boys Shortboard divisions and Sanibel Sharp won the women’s Junior Longboard, Junior Women’s Shortboard and Open Bodyboard classes to emerge as the event’s only triple winners.

Perrin Graham took the men’s Masters Longboard and Senior Shortboard divisions and Harold Brown topped the Masters Longboard and Grandmasters Shortboard to round out the event’s only double winners.

In other divisions, Rivers Ford won the men’s Junior Longboard, Doug Henderson claimed first in the Men’s Longboard, Perrin Graham took the Men’s Masters Longboard and Harold Brown won the Legends Longboard.

In the shortboard divisions, Micha Cantor won the Menuhune, Al Johnson took the Legends, Doug Henderson won the Masters and Addison Miles won the Junior Men, Tyson Miller won the Men’s class. Seth Ensly and Zeta Sharp took first place in the tandem event.
