MB Track & Field Club shines at Club Challenge

The Myrtle Beach Track and Field Club welcomed 22 clubs from across the Southeast to Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium on May 31st and June 1st.

Over 750 youth athletes ages 5 to 19 competed, with the Boys and Girls teams from the Mt. Pleasant Track Club taking top honors in the Club Team completion.

The Port City Track Club from Wilmington, NC placed 2nd in both Boys and Girls competition. The MBTFC Girls team placed 10th out of 20 clubs and the MBTFC Boys 8th out of 18 clubs.

The outdoor Club season continues in June with practices on Mondays. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. The teams next competition will be Saturday June 8th at the Carolina Gold Track Invitational in Georgetown.
