NMB’s Moore gets first win, pin in sweep of MB, Loris

The North Myrtle Beach wrestling team defeated Myrtle Beach and Loris Wednesday night to sweep the home tri-meet.

The Chiefs downed Myrtle Beach 66-15 and took down the Lions 51-27 to improve to 5-1 on the season.

North Myrtle Beach’s Brandon Moore earned his first career varsity match with a technical fall over Loris’ Hekeem Bennett then backed it up by pinning Myrtle Beach Nick Sylvestri in the finale.

North Myrtle Beach’s Ronnie Johnson (132), Taquan Long (170) and Hampton Harmon (182) won both of their matches by pins, Joey Small (120) earned a pin and a decision, and Carson McDaniel (106) and Jonathan Bracey won both of their matches by forfeit.

The Seahawks got multiple wins from Jonathon Iseman (113), Joseph Dejardins (152) and Tevin Cheatham (170), who is 8-0 in regular-season matches this year but lost to Loris. See full results:

    HEY NOT SURE IF I UNDERSTAND THIS PLEASE CORRECT team lost to loris not T. cheatham and he wrestled 160 lbs he is 3-0 at 160 and 5-0 at 170 but thanks for coverage .The Seahawks got multiple wins from Jonathon Iseman (113), Joseph Dejardins (152) and Tevin Cheatham (170), who is 8-0 in regular-season matches this year but lost to Loris.
